Lauda's ongoing project Through the Waves explores how the sounds and rhythms of the Caribbean have traveled between coasts, transformed, and continue evolving. For her guest show, she will examine reggaetón's evolution from its roots in Jamaican reggae, its transformation in Panama into reggae en español, and its rise to becoming one of today's largest music genres – reggaetón.
