Al Wootton

Covering much of the range of his influences and charting the course of his particular sonic development, Al Wootton brings a blended hour of the old and new from the Nigerian funk of King Sunny Adé’s 1983 ‘Synchro System’ all the way to the deep techno found in the latest ‘Mantis’ series on Delsin records. An hour full of the intricate percussion and subtleties in dub for which Wootton has become well known. This went beyond expectations, in typical style of course.
