Myths & Rhythm w/ Handless DJ
Handless DJ’s Myths & Rhythm returns this time in the form of a masterclass in intelligent and meditative electro-prog obscurity. Drawing a thread through enchanted cuts of humanist analogue tunes from the likes of Higher Intelligence Agency, Raymond Castoldi, and Ron Trent. The kids are at play indeed. Tip.

Dancehallmandela
An homage to blissful experiments in rhythm from Dancehallmandela to see in Friday afternoon. Patient and drifting selections drawn both from drummed up tribalist outsider-edges and those more easily comprehended blends of house and downtempo. Includes bits from Photay to Mashahiro Takahashi and The Maghreban. Tip.

Ena Cosovic
Into echoed realms from Ena Cosovic on this fourth hour of the fading sun. The Hannah Montana top belying a serious, heads-down hour of dubwise wash booted via Rhythm & Sound which melds into contemporary melodic-mode techno a la John Tejada and Parallel 9. Serious digital romanticism here. Shouts for that classic bit of Leon Vynehall in the middle as well. Excellent.

Harmony Rec. w/ Alfred Czital
Hour two of the Harmony Rec. takeover is gifted, truly, by Alfred Czital. Mellow-mode-trippers born somewhere, sometime, at the cusp of this century. Pianos gliding on rimshot drums and basslines born out of the deepest recesses of the soul. It’s that transportive kind of stuff, takes you straight to some jazzed up euro lounge; trip hop basically. Includes some deepcut bits from Smoke City, X Marks the Pedwalk, and Prefuse 73. So good. Big tip.

Manuca
Manuca sees in the afternoon as any good afternoon should be seen, with total grace. 2 hours of roots and reggae music from across the spectrum with seminal cuts from Prince Alla to Black Uhuru and Jackie Mittoo. 7 inch galore here, all delivered in a slick, laidback, harmonious haze. Very good.

RO
A standout show from RO for Friday’s third shift. Groove centric machine-wigged house and electro hybrids built prime-purpose for those smokelit hours of closing sunlight. A little bit android-y whilst keeping it rooted in them essential tech-house rhythmics with bits from John Debo, Farmboisier, and H-Foundation to name a few. Tip.

Emil Ramsby
Emil Ramsby closes out the before bit to welcome the after bit and does so in capital C Classico styley. Tech-house born of something sundrenched in that organ-washed shuffled-up percussive kind of way, all of it a particularly transportive style of waveriding house music of an age that forms much of the resurgence in today's scene whether via Community Recordings or Wamdue Speakeasy. Proper business. Tip.

Pass-the-Aux
Pass-the-Aux see in Saturday’s proceedings with their ever unique format allowing artists to come up and share their music one after another. Another diverse entry, spanning experimental bass-music, progressive house, hazy new age RnB and a range of other styles.

NACHTSCHADE TAKEOVER w/ Christina Evangelista
In form once more comes Christina Evangelista with an hour of slinky ro-minimal flexwork for Nachtshade. Just pure hand-wafting goodness from kickoff to touchdown, all of it played out like a stripped-back-groove-tilted homage to the late afternoon sun poured over the buttons. Includes bits from Rhadoo, Ramiro Drisdale, and Feeble Light. Tip.

NACHTSCHADE TAKEOVER w/ Ricardo Roessel
Ricardo Roessel sees out the Nachtshade with a winning hand of waxy house ‘n electro from the vaults. Wafters, drivers, slinkers, rollers, many descriptors one could use but all of them redundant in lieu of just hearing the thing from start to finish. For its that craftsman at work type stuff, with tunes from Miki Trasi to S. Moreira and The Egyptian Lover - to name a few. Tip.

Amaral Borges
Amaral Borges. A show firmly rooted in dub sensibilities. You know the method, drifting echoes off the cavernous walls it builds. Charting original Rhythm & Sound bits to more recent stuff from Joergmueller and Another Channel, it's a deftly delivered selection of laidback, patient, and slick-to-the-bone dub and dub-techno. Not much more one can say on that. Tip.

Come say hi
We're live every Friday & Saturday.
Come find us.
Studio carved out of the dancefloor at Jolene, in the heart of Copenhagen's Meatpacking District. Real Italian panini, good drinks, better music. Everyone's welcome.
Fri 17–23 · Sat 15–23 · Club until 05:00

The mic is open.
Pitch us your show.
We're always looking for new voices — regular slots, one-off takeovers, collaborations. If you've got a concept, a crate, or a story worth telling, we want to hear it.
Especially looking for
- · Early-slot shows — afternoons, pre-evening
- · Non-dance music — jazz, soul, ambient, world, anything beyond the club
- · Old-school talk radio — interviews, columns, spoken word
