Aimé You is a Berlin-based DJ, producer, and dedicated digger. His record collection draws from the emotional edge of late 90s and early 2000s progressive and tech house, with flashes of breakbeat, tribal textures, and oldschool trance.

Aimé You is the project of Ryan Lacarne, a Berlin-based DJ, producer, and dedicated record digger. Born in Paris, raised in Hong Kong, and now rooted in Berlin, his sound carries a mix of places, eras, and energies: emotional late 90s and early 2000s progressive house, old-school trance, tech house, tribal drums, breakbeat pressure, and the kind of records that feel like they have a whole story inside them. Behind the decks, Aimé You is drawn to music that feels physical but emotional at the same time. His sets often move between rolling grooves, euphoric melodies, trippy percussion, chunky basslines, and those strange in-between records that do not sit neatly in one genre but make perfect sense in the room. There is a strong digging element to what he does, with a focus on forgotten records, overlooked B-sides, and tracks from a time when house, trance, prog, and breaks were all bleeding into each other in weird and exciting ways. Over the last few years, he has become a familiar name in Berlin’s underground circuit, playing at places like Sisyphos, Watergate, KaterBlau, KitKat, RSO, Wilde Renate, HÖR, and more, alongside appearances outside the city in Munster, Hamburg, Taipei, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and London. Whether it is a club set, a sunrise slot, or something more DIY and intimate, he is always chasing that old-school feeling in dance music: records that make people move without losing that emotional pull. As a producer, Aimé You brings the same old-school prog feeling into his own music, blending driving drums, wide pads, acid lines, breaks, and emotional hooks into tracks that feel both nostalgic and current. His releases and remixes are rooted in the same world as his DJ sets: dance music with feeling, weight, and a bit of drama, made for sweaty rooms and long nights.
