Bolam is a DJ & Producer from the Shetland Islands in Scotland, based in Malmö. He has an avid infatuation with groove, cheek and no-nonsense tunes. His DJ style sits somewhere between tech house, breaks, trance and techno, always with a focus on swinging peoples hips and captivating the dance.

Shetland-Born, Malmö-Based Jack Hardie AKA ‘Bolam’ has an inimitable sound that’s easy to identify and tough to ignore. A lifelong keen intrigue in music with fruitful influence from his friends, family and the musical community of the Shetland Islands in Scotland has led to his passion in dance music today. Since 2020 he has had multiple widely renowned releases on MELD, Slump Recordings, Space Dust and Holding Hands to name a few that are diverse yet contextual to his broad style. His club DJ sets are focused on keeping the listeners on their toes and in a groove evolving through different styles, moods and tastes with a great ability to read the crowd and control the energy. Typically shifting through tech house, minimal, trance, tribal, breaks and techno, but not strictly contained within these boundaries. Bolam is a party starter and a story teller, and his DJ sets and original productions show it.
