DJ Due

I try to collect overlooked tracks, within many genres, but in general related to jazz, funk, disco, boogie & house from in between the 1960-90's. I love music with lyrical substance, that wants to make the world a better place, as well as music that makes people want to dance, and have fun together. I usually only play vinyl, but i search for more forgotten, slept on and often cheap stuff that most other might not know or play, since it's often not widely known by public or other DJ's.

For DJ Due, it all started on a Copenhagen-based pirate radio station in the early 2010s, where he learned how to mix tracks and host radio shows that were about presenting acts from the local underground scene, as well as worldwide political music across genres. Since then, Due has been collecting records and DJ’ing, especially around Copenhagen, where he plays everything from loungy jazz-funk sets at monthly community dinners in support of Palestine to classic dancefloor sets with disco, boogie, house, and everything in between. For Due, it’s really about finding music that is of high quality but has lacked attention. Therefore, DJ Due will bring a set of overlooked ’80s–’90s house on vinyl that deserves to be shared.
