GOÐI

Based in Copenhagen / Denmark

GOÐI is an Icelandic/Chilean producer and DJ based in Copenhagen. With a playful touch and an ear for the unexpected, his sound is rooted in house, techno and leftfield sounds. From the studio to the decks, he brings together hypnotic grooves and textured rhythms through his own cuts and remixes. GOÐI has become a familiar presence in the nightlife scene. I’ve been playing instruments since I was a small kid. Getting my first synthesizer sparked a fascination with synthesis and music production that has stayed with me ever since. I’ve spent years collecting gear, searching for music, exploring studios and reading about how sounds and records are made. That curiosity feeds into my own productions and custom remixes, finding ways to put my own sound into existing songs. On the dancefloor, I want to create something in the moment and leave room for spontaneity. For me, that’s where the connection with people on the dance floor happens.
