Jonas Tuk

Based in Copenhagen, Denmark

Trance, electro, breakbeats and blog house, but never where you think it's going. Jonas Tuk plays like a road trip with no map: bass first, broken beats through the middle, euphoric pads that hit you in the chest, and a turn nobody saw coming just when the room thinks it has him figured out. Genre labels don't really stick to him. One moment it's a rolling electro groove, the next a trance lead lifting the whole floor, and somehow it all makes sense as one journey. He'd rather surprise you than play it safe, and it shows in every set. Despite his young age, the Copenhagen DJ has already become a familiar name in the city's clubs and bars, where his knack for reading the room keeps the floor alive from the first track to the last. Off the decks, he's the founder of Radio Arena, a volunteer association building new platforms for both established and emerging musicians in Copenhagen. Hard to pin down, easy to follow.
