Making people move, physically and emotionally, is the single purpose of Mitchel Koopal. Whether it’s behind his synths and samplers for an improvised liveset, or dj mixer. Inspired by the history of dub and the live performances of Satoshi Tomiie, Plastikman, and Aurora Halal, he blends together sounds on the spot that take people on a journey. Steadily building a loyal following through his releases as one half of Herasi, and through the intimate In Den Wolken parties in Amsterdam. Mitchel is also a founding member of slow dance collective.
