Lt Headtrip and NorthernDraw (East/West Coast USA) bring their live hip hop and beat sets with a raw, hype energy to Copenhagen for the first time. The international duo offer underground rap full of heady, relatable lyricism and provocative storytelling with an anti-authoritarian DIY mantra.

Lt Headtrip and NorthernDraw are veteran touring musicians and community leaders in their respective music scenes. The duo's showmanship, original hip hop performances, DJ sets (funk/soul/house) and live beat sets offer a raw, distinct, hype energy to any venue or party with an anti-authoritarian DIY mantra. Together, Headtrip and Draw bring a live, invigorating set of innovative art rap full of heady yet relatable lyricism holding roots in old school hip hop and the abstract rap of the 2000’s. Draw’s production and live beat manipulation paint a dynamic canvas for the duo to engage with their audience, presenting hype energy with danceable tracks, contemplative vibes, and provocative storytelling, pulling the crowd in as an element of the experience. Not only have the two road warriors covered 40 of 50 U.S. states, but their collective reach stretches across Europe from the UK to Germany, Spain, and beyond, as well as Egypt, Trinidad and Japan. In their recent careers, they’ve performed and collaborated with hip-hop mainstays Open Mike Eagle, billy woods, Talib Kweli, ELUCID, Shrapknel, and more. Whether on or off the road, Draw and Trip build community wherever they go. Headtrip (WATKK, Fused Arrow Records) spent the late teens sustaining an underground scene throughout NYC, booking over a hundred shows that featured artists such as Quelle Chris, Armand and Hammer, Duncecap and many more, all of whom are Trip’s longtime collaborators. For over a decade, NorthernDraw has operated an independent record label, Thirsty City, showcasing West Coast hip hop and electronic musicians, while curating a monthly event under the same name in Portland, Oregon, his hometown. Their two collaborative EPs, Novel Path and Unbound Flight, feature artists from multiple countries expressing themselves in over a dozen different languages, reinforcing the duo’s mantra of using music as unifying device in an era where bridges, not walls, need built. Headtrip is also a member of the touring funk soul ensemble, Bassel & The Supernaturals, who tell the story of of bandleader Bassel Almadani’s experience as a first generation Syrian America, raising awareness and funds for refugees everywhere they go. NorthernDraw is also an accomplished beat-maker in electronic scenes across the West Coast of America and Germany, as well as a practiced DJ with a background in spinning vinyl and digital sets of electronic music, funk, and anything that gets a crowd moving.
