Sour District

BIO Sour District is the alias of Argentine DJ and producer Pedro Romero Victorica and co-owner of House Journey, a platform dedicated to promoting underground house music and club culture. Surrounded by music from an early age, he began his journey as a DJ and producer in 2021, quickly developing a sound rooted in underground house with strong old-school influences and contemporary textures, always connected to the genre’s foundations. Through his work with House Journey and his performances behind the decks, Sour District has steadily built a presence within the scene, playing alongside international artists such as Hot Since 82, Janeret, Garrett David, Mihai Popoviciu, Rich NXT and Marc Houle, as well as respected figures from Argentina’s house scene including Franco Cinelli, Martín Huergo, Jorge Savoretti, Carlos Alfonsín, Mateo Dufour and Nacho Bolognani, among others. As a producer, his music has been released on labels such as Cyclic Records, Música Lunar, Opus or Shuffle Valley, reflecting a continuous search for deep grooves and timeless house aesthetics. His sets are defined by a refined selection and hypnotic groove that bridges the heritage of classic house with the energy of modern club dancefloors.
