sunny kale

Based in London

sunny kale began his musical journey at just nine years old, learning to mix on a pair of turntables and developing an early love for UK garage, 2-step and grime. As he entered his teenage years, his curiosity led him into music production, which would become the foundation of his career. Over the years, his work as a producer and songwriter has contributed to three UK No. 1 albums, earned him a GRAMMY nomination and led to collaborations with artists including J Balvin, Young Miko, Stormzy, JME and J Hus, among many others. Influenced by UK Garage, 2-Step, Grime, Rap and R&B, sunny kale is now bringing everything full circle, stepping forward as an Artist and DJ with his own original releases. His vision is to bridge cultures and genres through music while staying rooted in the distinctly UK sounds that shaped him. His DJ sets move effortlessly between soulful, laid back UK Garage and 2-Step to heavier, bass driven selections, taking listeners on a journey through his carefully curated collection of records. Blending nostalgia with fresh sounds and unexpected influences, each set reflects his musical upbringing, personal taste and years of experience behind the scenes.
